Fungi cause a yeast infection or yeast that is so small that you can’t see it. These fungi live on our bodies and when they multiply to the point of a yeast infection. A vaginal yeast infection is not the only form of Candidiasis, but it is common. Other yeast infections include skin rashes and infections in the nail bed.
